| Our volunteer program was started in March 1996, hosting groups from various colleges and high schools we average over 900 volunteer hours per week. Organized as a community based volunteer program we spend the majority of our hours in our local schools. Activities include painting, yard work and most importantly mentors to elementary school children. In addition to assisting local residents, churches and business, we have been assisting a neighboring county’s department of social service in attending to some of the needs of their clients.
Students are housed at Heritage Hall and include home cooked meals. With no paid staff our volunteer program is 100% volunteer. Groups range in size from 12 - 24 at $200.00 per volunteer per week, arriving on Sunday and departing on Saturday.
If your group is interested in volunteering in our community please contact us.
Please enjoy the pictures of some that are making up“Our Growing Garden”, like petals of a flower they fill our garden with lasting memories of their friendship and fellowship.
